Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, review and maintain safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Manage and execute Safety & Health Management System (OHS MS ISO 45001) and Environmental Management System (ISO 14001) to ensure compliance with statutory, company’s rules, regulations & procedures and SIRIM certification body audit.
• Review ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 manual & procedures to ensure proper updating & effective implementation of its activities.
• Ensure SHO duties is performed as specified by Safety & Health Officer Regulations 1997
• Responsible to take lead in incident investigation and make appropriate report for JKKP / DOSH / DOE when needed.
• Internally plan & conduct training related to health, safety and/or environment topics, selects and coordinates external HSE training and promotes safe and environment-friendly working conditions towards the organization.
• Plan, conduct, monitor & follow-up HSE inspections & audits (eg. DOSH, DOE, BOMBA, SIRIM, Tokio Marine, Japan, Health Department and related government regulatory agencies)
• Close collaboration and communicating with other departments to identify, analyses, evaluates and advises ways to improve safety and/or environment risks related to working conditions.
• Perform and review risk assessment for safety, health and environment and enforce preventive measures.
• Collaboration with BOMBA to plan & execute fire drill as stipulate in the Fire Service Act
• Stay informed about changes in safety, health, and environmental regulations and standards, and ensure organizational compliance.
• Perform any other ad-hoc task as and when assigned by Superior.
